What’s on each plan
Housecall Pro puts more on its entry plan than most rivals. From its pricing page:
- Basic (1 user): 24/7 online booking, a Price Book with flat-rate pricing, payments and consumer financing are all included.
- Essentials (5 users): adds QuickBooks Online sync and employee GPS. This is the plan most small crews need, because Basic has no accounting sync.
- Max (8 users): for larger teams, with extra users at $35/mo each.
Monthly vs annual
| Plan | Monthly billing | Billed annually | Saving per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic (1 user) | $79 | $59 | $240 |
| Essentials (5 users) | $189 | $149 | $480 |
| Max (8 users) | $329 | $299 | $360 |
Prices exclude sales tax. Housecall Pro also advertises first-month promos; we leave those out because they change often.
Cost per user
| Team size | Plan | Monthly billing | Per user |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Basic | $79 | $79 |
| 5 | Essentials | $189 | $38 |
| 8 | Max | $329 | $41 |
| 10 | Max + 2 users | $399 | $40 |
The catch to watch
If you’re a team of 2-4, there’s no plan sized for you: you either squeeze onto Basic (1 user) or pay for Essentials’ 5 seats. And because QuickBooks Online sync isn’t on Basic, a solo operator who wants their books synced also has to step up to Essentials.
